AAMA Names KTECH 2021 Service Provider of the Year
KTECH, a workforce training initiative based in Madison, Alabama, solidified its place as a leader in the advanced manufacturing industry as it was named the 2021 Service Provider of the Year by the Alabama Automobile Manufacturers Association (AAMA).
KTECH received the award at the Southern Automotive Conference in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this month. The award recognizes companies that “exemplify workforce development excellence in the automotive manufacturing industry.”
“KTECH is an industry leader in skills training,” says Lee Marshall, Founder and CEO of Kids to Love, the 501c3 non-profit that operates KTECH. “We are meeting the need for skilled workers. Companies hire our students because they are not only qualified but dependable workers. That’s the KTECH difference.”
AAMA is a premiere organization dedicated to furthering Alabama’s Automotive Manufacturing Industry. AAMA engages statewide issues such as workforce development, and connects suppliers, service providers and manufacturers.
KTECH is privileged to work alongside AAMA to fill the gaps for skilled labor in our state. Since its inception in 2016, KTECH has awarded 236 certifications. 80% of KTECH students have been offered jobs or continued their education. 21 companies employ KTECH graduates.
KTECH is a private school licensed by the Alabama Community College System. Offering hands-on and interactive instruction, KTECH students can earn up to 4 certifications in the fields of Mechatronics, Robotics, Soldering and Solid Edge. KTECH is a workforce training initiative of Kids to Love.
